I installed an OME 2.5" suspension lift with 9000 shocks/885's and Light Racing UCA's and a dakar leaf pack with N182's in the rear. Then I went to Tire Kingdom to wrap the wheels with BFG 285/70/16's. The guy told me that the tire was too big and that it was rubbing on the UCA. He was right, when i looked at it there was barely any room.

Does anyone have this setup? What's the biggest size tire I can run on my setup? Im on the verge of going with 265/75/16's.

Should I settle with this setup or should I buy some spacers?

I thought about the spacers but where would I buy them (do you have a link?) and would I just need the spacers for the front? or would the look awkward.

Unfortunately i don't have enough for new wheels.

Old Man Emu 2.5" lift, brush guard (about to be changed), grey-wire mod, custom bed mounts for 4 jerrycans, custom survival box, maglite mount, KC Dayliters.
I had a small clearance issue when I bought my last set of tires. I went to a machine shop with my old rotors and had them cut the hub face off each of them. It gave my 1/4 inch of space, perfectly balanced. Cost me all of $30 for the pair.

about $200 for spidertrax if you buy for both the front and rear which would look best

there's a few guys on here that run 275's. Nuebs has them, but on aftermarket wheels. I did ALOT of research on this a while back, 275's on stock rims should fit just fine. You dont have very many tires to choose from though.

Edit: I don't know how tall 275's are in a 16" rim, I was looking for 17 in rims. Use the tire calculator to see how much bigger they are than stock.

Sway Bar removal. Charcoal filter delete. Stant 11509 Locking Gas Cap.
I had Bilstein 5100s set at 1.75" with stock wheels on 265/70/17s and they rubbed on the UCAs fer shure. I would get aftermarket wheels or some spacers would be good like everyone says!
