I'm thinking about lifting my dark gray 2010 4wd double cab tacoma and im not going to settle for anything but the best . problem is i am seventeen and work 3 hours a day on a $10/hr salary . im also going to graduate from highschool soon and my gift is the suspension and lift on my truck . just wondering if anyone has done it on theirs yet and how they like it . what tires you put and what kind of gas mileage you get now . im trying really hard not to have 5-8 mpg like my dodge 2500 4x4 had . my parents made me sell it because of the gas mileage and there is NO way i am driving a car . thankss !

oh and anyone with BDS same thing , thanks :) !

TC does not make a 6" kit to my knowledge. I believe that your choices are BDS, ProComp and Fabtech

Is there a certain kit that is compatible with VSC? The kits that I have seen had a disclaimer about not working with VSC.

are you talking about a 6" lift with total chaos long travel added? stacking lifts is very much frowned upon...?

laaame i reallllly wanted total chaos . and i just heard of the bds , wasnt quite sure they made it . maybe the question i should have asked was what is the best lift i can get for my truck not exceeding 1500 bucks for just the lift , long arms would be incredible . allllll without voiding my warranty :) . no welding or cutting .

Don't you have to weld and cut for a 6" anyway? And under $1500? I dont know about 6" lifts, but my full OME set up ran me right at that price and it's only 3". Then you have tires and wheels...
