I was lookin to getting an OME complete lift kit for my 2010 dcab. But I have the oppertunity to buy toytec coilovers for 500 bucks. A guy had them on his fj for six months but her traded it in. The things look almost brand new. So I
curious if I should jump on this or not. I mean when I buy all the other parts like the aal rear 5100s and stuff it'll wind up costing me the same as the OME complete kit.

Hell ya, I paid full price but I'm still happy with them. FYI if they don't come with the sway bar relocate brackets, you'll need those, or at least I did on my 2010 non TRD 4x4.

Yep the brackets are there. I mean these things look mint. I'm most concerned if this kit with the billies is better then the OME kit

You will have to take them off to adjust them. Or at least Jack up your truck and take the wheels off.

yeah so i took too long deciding and kinda lost out on em'....which is ok cause i still wasn't sure what i wanted to do...so i'm thinking of trying the OME route...i'm only looking for 2.5" lift...if i get these without the spacer will it give me 2.5? i'm kinda worried about sagging...

5% tint all around, Alpine IVA-W505, 16x8 Mojave Teflon Rims w/Hercules Terra Trac 265/75, Grillcraft Grill, Slimcubby HIDs, Front 5100's @ 0 w/Eibach 1.6" springs, URD Short Shifter, Extang Trifecta Tonneau Cover, Uniden Pro510XL and K30Mag Mount, Relentless Fab Bumper soon to come
with 885's sagging would be minimal unless your putting a front bumper and winch on.

na keeping stock front...on my 06 i had the 5100s set at 2.5" with aal in the rear...it was stiff but i kinda liked it...i got alittle more money this time around so i'm thinking of going up a notch and trying the OME...is the ride really that much better?

Did you lose out or not? Because i would deff jump on those for 500, there are endless threads comparing these to the ome's and they are about equal, but you are worried about sagging and the adjustable toytec's solve that. two of my friends have the toytec coilovers and they work great!

yeah it's actually bout 170 cheaper to just get the 5100s with the 885s and the aal then the complete OME kit....so i'm thinking i'm gunna go that route and maybe stick that extra cash into getting my fj trd rims or better tires :D
or UCAs (though i hope i don't need em right away)
