i didnt get it! it's not free, toyota will get it back somehow!!! maybe by increasing the price of the trucks. i personally didnt want the ride to be more stiff. all mid size and full size trucks come with 3 leaf packs. i dont haul anything heavy with this truck. its not designed for it. 1/4 ton max!!!!!!!!

The trans flash # is 0393-09; having mine done this Monday, and will load the bed up later to see if I'll have the leaf job done later...

If u feel u will need it then by all means get it! I personally didn't need it cause I didn't by this truck to haul anything heavy. It is a toy to me and a daily driver! I bought it to go wheelin and haul camping stuff, pull my quad on a trailer and fishin poles and things of that nature! You don't have to get it just because there is a tsb! There is nothing wrong with the 3leaf springs!

X2 had it done and love the feel of the ride now. I'll find out in a few weeks whether I ride the bump stops when loaded.

It's essentially a free AAL. If you think that's something you're going to eventually want, get it. If not, don't.

*The # I posted above must be an updated one; I printed it from a post I found; the date was Dec. 3 2009, TSB 0393-09...that # is for the tranny flash, not sure what the leaf spring was. I'll find a Sunday buffet soon and have a couple peeps climb up in the bed and ride 'round the parking lot over some speed bumps to see if I need the additional leaf spring:p
