Sorry to repost but i keep getting different answers.......... Mounting 8000 winch on transformer.......its going to drop front an inch I know. I plan on adding 1.5 front spacers to make up for this. This 07 DC will be on the pavement 98% of the time and on interstate.
Is this going to F-Up my truck or should I get a pair of OME 885's or would the 5100's at 1.75 hold this better?

I am not going to buy coilovers, and i know you get what you pay for but will the spacers work to hold the 200 extra pounds up over time driving primarily road.

Please refrain from advising me to build a front end suspension that could actually kill the dragon on the world of warcraft tacoma commercial!!! :)

And i want the winch because I have it from another truck and i use it to put barb wire fences up and not to winch up the himalayas

if you go with the OME i knwo they have different springs that are rated for extra weight. its the 886 or 887 or something like that. im sure someone else knows more

I would get some 886's and OME's. without the weight it will be a 3" lift. If someone else has a better answer i'm sure they will chime in. I think you will get about 2" of lift when all is said and done.
