are they worth it? im only 2 wheel but ive heard its worth it to have but then my uncle tells me to not waist and go more lift. he said way back when his front dif went out so he was on just a rear locker and it was horrible so im not sure if spending that kind of cash is worth it.

I was in the same boat as you. I thought about getting ARB air locker (RD129) for my 2wd. If I had a 4x4, without a doubt I would run ARB air lockers. Now is the time to purchase one if you do decided to go with it, the air compress is free when you purchase it.

I decided to go a different route and give Powertrax a try for my 5 lug. Just waiting on all parts to arrive to have it installed.

I have a 4x4 and the next upgrade im considering is an ARB air locker for the front. I already have an elocker in the rear. Is this worth the money?

I was quoted to have it installed for $450. So I would think something between $400-$600.

I know some one that got the air locker, air compress, and install for $1400 on his 4x4.

If you can afford it then get it. I love my ARB. Its nice to be able to go from open then flip two little switches on the fly and know your locked up. Not sure about installation price since my brother in law helped me install mine. Well my installation cost was actually several cases of beer, a new torque wrench, and a pissed off girlfriend since we baked some of the parts in the oven.

Definately get one!! It's well worth the money!! I had two of them in my Jeep.

Let me tell you..... it's a glorious feeling when you're going up a hillclimb and 3/4 of the way up it, you start slipping. While you're sitting there (still on the throttle, wheels spinning, no forward movement) - you reach down and hit that button.... and the vehicle takes off up the hill again. It's frigin amazing!

And when you're at the top of the hill..... you press that button to disengage the locker.... You hear a loud "PSSSSSSSSHHH" - a sound that only ARB owners will make everyone else jealous! hehehehee
