i took my truck in to the dealer get the vsc reset a few months ago and I advised the tech about that same noise up front. it only happens when shifting from park to reverse and its a semi loud clank. i dont remember exactly what he said it was called but it has to do with the brakes calipers shifting...did not make any sense but he said its normal. two different dealer techs told me the same thing. hope this helps

Got under the truck again tonight. Checked the torque on the lower control arms. They were good. The only thing I noticed was that the left front set of alignment cams are upside down compared to all the others on the lower arms. Not sure if this makes a difference but it was the only thing different I noticed. Taking it to the dealer Thursday and hoping they don't give me shit about my lift.

I don't know who aligned it. I haven't had it done since I bought it. I haven't noticed any odd tire wear or pulling though.

I give up on the noise. Don't have a clue. Very strange like metal to metal loud bang. Only does it once usually then you have to cycle the suspension a little bit before it happens again.

Spoke with Total Chaos today and now I am thinking the uniballs may be the issue. The Guy said the nylon in the bearing can wear out and can cause noises from the slop in the bearing.

Still going to the dealer but I'm not expecting much help from them. I'm still under warranty but not if its a lift issue. Oh well worth a shot
