I just made a deal with another Tacoma world member to buy his TRD Bilstein suspension. He is selling me the front and rear shocks along with his front springs. I have a 4x4 without the TRD package so I know that the shocks are an upgrade for me. But what about the springs are they also better or are they the same as what I already have.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Non-TRD are linear while the TRD's are progressive (IIRC) so yes it's an improvement if you wheel.

If you haul heavy stuff then you can get your rear leaf springs upgraded to a 4 leaf pack while your truck is under warranty

No, force the issue if you want it done. As long as your truck fits the criteria, they should do it.
