What does TSB stand for?

I am looking at lifting my truck a little bit and have been reading some of the threads on here and people keep referring the the TSB rear. I know it can stand for technical service bulletin, but that didn't seem to make any sense. Any help??

In this case it has to do with the leaf springs. It fixes the sag in the rear which results in loading the bed with weight. In my case, I have a 3 leaf spring which isn't sufficient to keep the rear from squating when I put weight in the bed.

It's something that Toyota knows about and can be fixed, but only if you complain about it. Most common seem to be 2nd gens with automatic transmissions that shift badly and 2nd gens with weak rear springs. Toyota will fix them, but they do not require a recall as it is not a safety issue in their opinions.

I would like to lift it maybe 2.5 to 3 inches. Not sure yet. If I use the Biltstein shocks what do I do to the rear end? What is this AAL that I keep seeing everyone talking about? I've got about $500 to spend.

If you go with the Bilsteins up front, you can get your 2.5 inches of lift. In the rear, we make a custom long AAL with anti friction pads that work very well with your leaf pack for a lift of 2 inches. With an 01, like mine, I had to replace my leaf pack because my pack actually had a reverse arch to it. I went with the Custom Alcans because my truck had a shell on it and I wanted to dial in my load capacity a little bit. But OME makes a great full leaf pack under the DAKAR name. But with your budget, you will probably have to wait on those, but can upgrade down the road.

We should be getting the shocks in next week.

i have a 2nd gen with automatic transmissions that shifts badly from 1st-2nd, do they know why and can they fix that?
