So I was searching the forums and internet for reviews on the Black Hawks and couldn't find too much information. Would those be comparable to some Kings or Icons? Curious if there are any reviews or are they just way too over the top unless I had the coin and not a care in the world? Talking about moderate wheeling but wouldn't mind hard stuff.

WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY over kill. these things are about $2500 pre shock. they are full comp race shocks. for whatever your palnning on doing some fox or king bypass or even smooth body resi would be fine.

besides, you rock those, you will likely find your truck on jackstands and the shocks missing...

 

Thanks for the info guys. Wasn't really planning on it, just wanted to know the difference/how they compare to other set ups. If I ever do get them we'll make a run Mike and MJ! LOL

 

for the sake of comparison, they are pretty much the equivalent to the 3.0 or 4.0 shocks from King...

Sorry to question again, what about the COs? They're 650.00 at ORW. Again sorry but all the tech stuff is mumbo jumbo unless I can actually see it or have it broken down to me (dumbed down). Hey what can I say? I'm Polish.

yep... you would use those for the rear if the truck was linked...

also, those prices are likely per shock, so you are still paying well over $1,200 a pair...

plus, i don't think those shocks come with the coil springs... you would need to buy two sets of springs per shock...

 

Damn that is craziness. Well for now I'll keep looking around. Maybe some day I can get a nice set up but for now I'll have to settle for 5100s when the stocks give out
