6 inch pro comp lift

I was just wondering if anyone was aware that there is a 6in pro comp lift where u don't have to cut the cross member. I had always heard that all the 6in kits u had to cut it but now found out that's not the case. Also if anyone knows of any other 6in kits where u don't have to cut the cross member feel free to let me know.

I don't have a link to anything. I know a guy personally who just installed a 6in pro comp lift and he said there was no cutting of the cross member.

ok i think ive confused myself...

procomp actually calls the drop bracket a crossmember...

you do still have to put on the lower crossmember replacement but do not have to cut the diff crossmember on a prerunner

My brother from Tyler, TX is correct I just had my 6in pro comp installed 3 days ago and they definantly cut my cross member, if u have a 2WD they dont have to, whoever told u they dont cut it is either retarded or doent know shit about lift kits.
