are you asking if there is a diff between a "lift kit" (lift spacer, 6" drop bracket lift) and a "performance suspension" (long travel, CO and UCA combo)?

    um, yeah.

    Build thread in sig...
ok, it's kinda been said already, but in general (this is a big generalization), jeeps=crawling, and trucks=going fast over rough terrain.
I say this is a generalization, becasue tacos (and other trucks with ifs) can be made into pretty decent crawlers. there's also a reason you don't see nearly as many jeeps running races like baja

so plain and simple (and again, in general), a jeep benefits from large amounts of flex, and a truck benefits from superior shock absorbsion.

as for the loss in cornering, it really isn't an issue depending on what kind of lift you have. most lifts on our trucks are designed to take a beating, and are therefore a little stiffer than stock (at least that's the way i made mine) so even though i'm a little higher, the truck corners better after the lift...that is until i took off my swaybar...but that's another story :)

but as it been said multiple times before in this thread, it's apples to oranges. yes, the lifts are for more than just looks and bigger tires (most of the time), but they serve a very different purpose than jeep lifts.
