im running camburgs with 5100 set at 0.85 with stock coils and allpro 3" leafs in the rear and it sits about level. id say if you did the 5100s at 0 you have pretty colse to factory rake. You can do either 5125 or 5150 in the rear, you just have to get the right length, the difference between the two shocks is that the 5150 has a piggyback reservoir and the 5125 does not. you can run a 265/70-17 on the stock wheels, but IMHO it will look kinda funny with 4" of lift up front. going with 285s will fill out the wheel wells and give it a good stance.

yes, there are different lengths for each model of shock. call downsouth motorsports and they will set you up with the exact length you need. im not sure about the 285s on stock wheels, im currently trying to figure that out for myself, i started a thread for it. youll need extended brake lines front and rear, and longer u-bolts. no need for UCAs if 5100s set at 0, i have 5100s set at 0.85 and im running stock UCAs with no problems.
idk yet, i started a thread. ill try to let you know when i find out.
theres a member who was at one time, i think the pic is somewhere in the beginning of this thread.

Alright guys I have camburg spindles in the front and all pro leaf springs with 5125 shocks gauged at 10.17" shock travel.
I have an 1" rake in the rear (but I have a reg cab).
Also, I am running the 17" sport rims with 285/70r17. At the beginning I had no wheel spacers, but the tire was so close to the spindle (no rubbing) that you couldn't fit your finger in between. Now in the 3rd pic, I am running 1.25" spacer in all 4 corners. I had some minor rubbing in the front wheels of the front fenders. I trimmed it up and don't have anymore rubbing issues. Costalboy, with your double cab and if you go with the normal all pro leaf pack I bet you will be perfectly level because of more weight.

Very true, but you can run the 285s on stock wheels, it's just really close. If you do go with spindles and a 3" leaf pack the truck will look sweet, but you'll pay for it in gas, I know I do:(

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting spindles next. I have 5100s in front with Eibach coils set at .85. If I get 4" spindles, would it be better to go back to stock springs? Cause I belive the eibachs give 1.6" if I put at 0, I don't want to have 6" in front and have a crazy bro lean haha...

    Eibachs vs stock springs?

Well my first question is what kind of lift are you running in the back?

As for Eibachs vs. stock coils, the eibachs are going to ride better than the stock coils.

I have 5100s, TSB leaf and 1.5" AAL in rear. I would want to keep them on, but looks like I need a new leaf set and shock in rear for such height no?

Question. If I run a Camburg spindle with 5100 Bilstein shocks all the way around what type of leaf kit would I need to level the rear end out? I am going to be running a 285 tire.

Anybody near Sacramento getting spindles. I have mine along with billies and need help putting them on. I don't have the tools nor the experience. My buddy has a shop and is supposed to do it in a few weeks, I'm just impatient haha

All-Pro 3" pack. Or you could go the other way (which I strongly don't recommend) with an ad-a-leaf with a block.

i kind of like the front a bit higher. do you think with the 5100 set at 1.75 would make the 33s look small? and id be fine with stock UCA?

lol... oops...i dont have a lift at all but i plan on getting the spindles with the all pro 3" and all 4 billies. i wanted to set the front at .85 but i seen you say it was about level.. assuming you meant it still had the rake. i kinda like the front a little nose high so i would assume again id probably like it better set at 1.75.. get what i mean?

Yes I understand. My truck with the billies set at 0.85 doesn't have the factory rake, it is LEVEL. When I first put the leafs on, the truck had the factory rake until the leafs settled. All-pro 3" leafs, 4" spindles, and front Bilsteins set at 1.75", you should have the look your going for. Make sure you get shocks that are the correct length for the leafs.
