rear end out of alignment after Lift???

that's not what i wanted to hear. i was hoping that i didn't need to fork over the money for new uca's.

 

Ok... I'm here at tire kingdom and the manager is telling me that setting my caster between 2.4-3.1 will cause my tires to be push so far forward that it will cause it to rub the front even more....

He says that it's too be big of a risk for him to even try it... Wth??!

 

yea good luck im going through the same thing once you touch the suspension no one wants to or knows how to adjust the alingment back to specs ......
i think it is just lazy people not wanting to put the time in.....
you will have to find a good shop that will work with you....even after you get the u.c.a.'s

 

You should find an alignment shop that specializes in modified vehicles to do the alignment for you. In my opinion, its better to have more caster and have the wheels further forward. You can at least trim the front portion of your wheel well. The further back and you will be rubbing badly on the body mount, which is much harder to modify. Also, new uca's are likely in order. Look into some light racing ucas if you are on a tight budget or even check the for sale section.

Yes a whole lot, and they still think that it's going to hit the bumper itself if I turn and hit a bump

 

Would the new UCA help if i have a 6" lift?
