Cost to have UCA installed?

I'm thinking about getting a local shop to install my TC UCAs once I get them. I just don't feel confident doing them myself. How much have some of yall been charged to have a shop install your UCAs? Also how much have yall been charged to have the Armor Tech shackle flip kits installed?

 

I really think it is time, not labor so i think it may be expensive. If i were you I would take a look at that DIY TC UCA install one more time to make sure you think you cant do it.

 

Def time. I think I read somwhere that $150 is reasonable for UCA's and the shackle flip could be costly too, might even be cheaper at an offroad shop where they won't freak out at the idea.

 

Thanks for the tips yall. I put 5100s on my truck no problem. Not sure how much harder the UCAs would be. I'll keep studying the DIY and see what I can come up with. I know there is grinding/drilling involved with the shackle flip.... thats the thing that makes me nervous about attempting them.

 

If you put on the 5100s you can handle the UCA's, just plan on it being a bit harder than the 5100's, not much.

I know I read somewhere about installing the shackle flip, it sounded like a slow process but not hard; more of a pain in the ass but basic. I'll try to find it.
