lift installed

I just got done installing my 3" lift from extremetrucktoys.com. I put some eagle alloy wheels with pro comp xterrains. Then I put in the hypertech speedometer calibrator. I did it over a two day period in my friend's driveway. The first spacer took several hours. After figuring out what I was doing...I was able to get the second one installed in about 30 minutes. I put AALs in the back. I got the alignmet done at the local dealership. It drives great with no problems. Everything considered, I'm very happy with the results. I couldn't have done it without all the info that I learned from this forum. Thanks for everyone's advice. Here's some before and after pics.

Lift: $190
5 Wheels and tires: $500 (ebay) I still have to do the spare tire mod.
alignment: $100 (probably could have gotten it done cheaper somewhere else)
Hypertech speedometer calibrator: $240 (expensive, but I hate having my speedo and odometer off)

Yeah, I wasn't planning on lifting the truck for another few months, but when I found the wheels, I couldn't pass up the deal.

Thanks for the replies. The ride is a little stiffer than stock, and I can "feel" the road a little more. Not sure if thats the lift or the tires or both. Either way it handles great like before. Actually I prefer the way it feels now.

The tires are 285/75 r 16 Pro Comp Xterrains. I probably wouldn't have gone with the pro comps but they came on the rims. I prefer BF Goodrich MTs, but the Pro Comps aren't bad, just a little loud. The rims are 16" eagle alloys. I'm not sure what the offset or back spacing is. I took a chance on them. They guy I bought them off (on Ebay) said they came off a tacoma, so I figured they'd be ok for me. Luckily they worked out fine. There was some very minor rubbing on the plactic trim in the front of the wheel wells. But this was only when I was backing up and the wheels were turned all they way. I didn't realize how easy it would be to trim. I was able to cut off some of the plactic easily with a razor blade. Now there's no rubbing at all.

The thing that suprised me the most that there really wasn't any noticible power loss with the bigger tires. And after recalibrating the speedo, the change in gas milage has been very little.
