ah more lift questions

pros and cons? this seems much better than a top plate spacer lift and since im on a budget, the best for the money i have. opinions and what you suggest instead if any?

 

As you say it is better than a spacer kit, but I would be concerned with the stock damper travel when combined with those springs. It might be just as cost effective to do 5100s in the front at 2-1/2" with your stock springs, then use an AAL and their on your existing rear dampers.

 

I have that exact lift with the 885's and the rear AAL. So far no issues on my truck but then again, I swapped out all my stock TRD shocks with Billy 5100's. Rides a bit stiffer but I dont mind that.

 

so im guessing i can ride with these with stock springs until i can get billy 5100's?

 

do those shock extenders work with the front shocks also or just the rear?

 

It should be okay for a little while but I'm not positive. Technically the OME coils are supposed to be best with the OME shocks. The OME-90000 are for the front and the OME-N182's are for the rear. I just went with the 5100's cause they were cheaper in price. I dont regret going with the 5100's even till this day. You can look at it all on Toytecs website.
