so whats the word 17 or 18's for 6" lift?

    it seems a little unclear if u can use 17's with a 6" procomp lift anyone know for sure ?

    Everyone I have seen for the second gens has had 18's...

    None yet- Future: HIDs, Tinted tails, LED interior lights,
    18 and up are what most people roll on their 6" lift. It gives a bigger tires for them and I think the 18/20 are perfect sizes. Not too big; not too small.

    I say 17's because the more side wall the better, and the more rubber the more it looks like a truck and not a pretty street queen.

    I read on the procomp site they reccommend at least an 18 inch wheel for the 6 inch lift

    I would go with what they reccomend then 18's on 35's look killer anyways

    i have heard some people say 17's are little tight on procomp kits so i just wanna be safe then sorry considering a lot of people here have that lift.

    17's will fit but you have to have at the most 4.65" back spacing...

    18's is the minimum requirement for the FJ Cruiser lift...

    but I have also heard that procomp redesigned the drop bracket for the strut bar and also redesigned the steering knuckled...on procomp's website it still says 4.65" max backspacing but I have heard that some guys are running 17x9" wheels with 5" backspacing without the rim touching the steering knuckle...is this true?

    TRD exhaust tip , toyota bed mat , uws low pro tool box , wet oke seat covers front & rear
    It all depends on the truck . Procomp says if u have a 09 or 10 with vsc u need at least 18inch wheels. Although Black beauty is running 17s on her 2010. She had told me there was very little clearance so she would also go 18 if she had to do it again. Fabtech says 17s will work on 09 or 10 .
