Squeaky Dakar Leaf Springs

I recently installed the full OME lift with Dakar leaf springs. The rear end seems to squeak all the time. The people that installed the lift said it just needed to be broken in. Any ideas on why they are so noisy?

Just realized this probably belongs in the suspension section. Sorry about that.

The spring are brand new so I don't think they are dirty. What lube would you suggest using?

i usually spray PB blaster in the leaf springs...shuts them up for a while. another thing i heard recently that i didnt think about yesterday was to check the torque on the shackle bolts. too tight and they would cause squeaking. not 100% on the correct torque though...thought it was 95lbs

Can anyone confirm that the torque for the dakar shackle bolts is 95lbs?

I took about three hours cleaning and trouble shooting these damn things. Its the bushings that OME send already in the leafs that squeak. I looked it up on TTORA and the consensus is the bushings are to blame. I've gotten to the point where I'm just putting up with it till i can swap in some Toyota bushings.

What he said ^^^ It's the bushings, Mine squeak from the front and rear bushings. I can get them to stop for a while with a good shot of lube but it comes back after the first day in the dirt. You will get used to it
