POLL: ProComp vs Tuff Country 3" suspension

Les Schwab Tires gave me a $180 credit for my stock tires that I traded but wouldn't give me cash, so I'm stuck buying my 3" lift from them. I have 2 options... Pro Comp and Tuff Cuntry. They are comparable in price and both AAL with front spacers. I have heard some negatives with Pro Comp but nothing about Tuff Country. Please vote in the poll and let me know your reasoning. I'm going to pick up my lift on Wednesday (5-28) and install it myself. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Absolutely correct. They are a basic spacer lift. They will either have a spacer on top of the coil pack ( stock ride but horrible for the ball joints), or split the spacers between the top and add one to the spring itself, pre loading the spring ( a little stiffer ride, not as bad for the ball joints), Or they will put one spacer in the spring pack pre loading the spring ( very stiff ride, not bad on the ball joints). If a 6" lift is not what you want, look into a coil over like "Icon", "Sway-Away", or the like, or OME springs. For the back, a shorter AAL is going to give a stiff ride whereas a longer one will be pretty nice. You can also contact a spring shop in your area and see if they will custom make a spring for you to suit your application. Many people have used blocks for lift in the rear, but, I dont advocate the use of them as I have seen them break and prematurely wear out leaf packs.
