last minute tips (spindles)

they cant get a hole through the spindle for the front axles....therefore im still interested in how he got a 4x4 with spindles? by reading his thing i think it might have been on another truck that he had

 

very true....^^^^^ or just talking about how he took it out and put it back in on his stock spindles

how highj you gonna run the 5100's up front? what are you doing about the rear?

 

front gunna be at 0 for a while (until i get UCA) then probly just go up each level until i like it enough. i was talking to chris4x4 and he was thinking i should go with dakar 3in leaves from wheelers and maybe a 1 inch block but it doesnt look uneven to me its also sitting on a slanted drive way. but atleast i cant look over my truck anymore

 

haha i still can it sucks... i think im gonna crank to front up to a total of 5.5" maybe 6" but idk if ill keep it i want to see how the ride turns out!

 

well all i know it will ride the same as before if i put the 5100's up to 2.5 and i had it riding like that for a little while aint that bad. but would need UCA for alignment issues. what you got running for rear lift?

if your running the 5100 at 2.5 right now will you really need uca's because of the spindles? would it not be the same?

And there was a little sarcasm but im 6'4"ish and I dont think its tall enough. It will look better after I get my 255/85 tires though

right now in the rear im just doing a 1.5" aal but really want a dakar or alcan pack but definetly dont have the funds...hopefully my business will take off and get me some extra cash for my addiction!

 

oh ok gotcha. yah im 6.4 iish also. but i got tsb with tsb aal.

the spindles bring everything back to stock geometry so as far as i know. its stock geometry but still raised 4 inches

its would be the same if you but the 5100's at 2.5 from stock height it would lift 2.5 inches on stock height and on the spindles. (if that made any sense)

 

^ ya that makes sense which is why i asked why you would need new uca's. if your fine now you should be fine then as well

 

well alignment wouldnt be perfect. so you get new uca if you plan on keeping billies at 2.5

 

but you said you were running that height before without the uca's so why would the setup now need them? i do know that they give a little more travel if your not using them for alignment issues

Brake lines were a pain in the ass! Thankfully taylors dad was there to help with that otherwise id have yanked it all out and fucking burned the truck....
