There isnt a cheap way.

 

well absolutely rock bottom cheapest would be 3 inch spacer and 3 inch body lift. The cheap of the cheap uber cheap

In all seriousness the suspension is the last part you want to skimp. To do it right/the best way(IMO) sac but to do a drop bracket I believe it will set you back a couple grand.

Not a cheap way, suspension-wise. You could body lift, which would look horrible and be un-safe.

 

Go buy 12 hockey pucks. Bolt 6 together for each side and put them in. That would be really cheap!

 

reminds me of some of the guys around here. they'll put some 2x4s under their truck to lift it up


why are body lifts so bad? I know lots of guys who have them

 

save the money and do it right, not cheaply.

they look like crap, you get mud on your engine, and they can break and shoot your cab into the car in front of you while your frame stays conveniently placed on the ground

 

When you say cheap; I take it you already have 35" tires ready to go right? Add another grand onto your price tag unless you want to rock stock tires. Maybe 35s are extreme on a 1st gen but still.
