I have a 2006 TRD Offroad package and around 25000 miles on my truck. Mostly street and a LITTLE off roading. Mostly on packed dirt roads. No crawling or rough trails. I just noticed that my driver side rear shock is totally blown out. I know that this is not covered under warranty. Any suggestions about what I should do? Should I just go back to Toyota and have them replace the bad shock or should I get an aftermarket one. I know that the shocks are pretty good that are used on the TRD offroad package thats why I might just have them replace it with a new one. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

How is it not covered under warranty? Forgo the dealer and look in your warranty booklet for the Bilstein address/phone and write/call them and have them deal with it. You should be covered under Billie's warranty.
