Question Diff Drop on 2WD?

I am putting on the 3" toytec spacer and aal lift on my 2WD DC TRD SPORT (this is just going to be for show and road use only). The guy putting them on for me told me that I don't need the diff drop. Is this true or is he full of it? I obviously don't know much about this stuff so I figured I would ask the experts (YOU GUYS). Please let me know so I know if I need to find someone else to put this on for me.

You don't have a diff to drop.

Take the diff drop kit and sell it on the 'Buy/Sell/Trade' section on TW.
