What coilovers give the best ride quality?

I have researched and researched... what coil overs give the softest and most compliant ride with 2.5" of lift. Or will they all be the same at that level?

 

the stiffness of the CO will also depend on how much preload (lift) you have on it.

if you set it at 2.5" and it's too soft or stiff you can adjust the preload to change the ride quality

i've only ran Icons, so i only have experiance with them, but both sets of my Icons have been great shocks, took all the abuse i threw at them in the dirt and rode great on the trip home.

I've got Fabtech's on my Taco, and I have absolutely no complaints with the ride. They're set at ~3" of lift, and still ride nice on the hiway, and even nicer off road!!

 

I have fabtech 3inch coilovers and they ride stiff. how can I soften it.
