While my truck is in the shop ive been looking at suspension lift kits and found one that looks pretty good. The 3" lift with spacers, rear options, and rear shocks from toytecfor $319.99. Wat do yall think? Is this a good enough lift or are there better ones around the same price?

well I might be wrong but what about this option 5100 bilstein shocks and set them at 2.5'' setting and buy some 2.5'' blocks for the rear? I know nothing about suspension lifts but maybe this will work.

you might as well go w/ the coil kit. not much difference in price.

Is is possible to use the 5100's on the front and set them up to the highest setting (without changing the UCA's or any other components) and do an AAL or block spacers or even shackles in the rear?

so for a decent lift (about 2.5'') you can do a set of 5100's and an AAL,
a bigger tire and you have yourself a 3.5'' lift!

I am pretty sure I am goin for a the 5100's when my oem shocks are worn out! The only thing I am not sure about is the rear lift. I have herd that AAL makes the rear end of your truck really stiff. Not sure if I want that???

Why do you not recommend a spacer lift in the rear?

Just FYI, I did a spacer lift on an 01 4X4 taco that I use to own. I was busting cv boots at the rate of about 1 a month. I had nothing but problems. I wish I had found TW back then and it would have saved me alot of aggrivation. IMO if I were you, I would save my money and get the ultimate lift from toytec. Please dont do a spacer lift....you will regret it.

Well I live on 20 acres of land and also go huntin in the backwoods so I will def need a reliable lift. still affordable too. And apparently spacer lift is out of the question haha. Will a 2.5 inch lift be big enough to put m/ts on my truck?

    What size m/ts?

If you have the stock 16" alloy wheels you can easily clear 265/75-16s (roughly 32"s) with a 2.5" lift.
