    wow, what a total botch job :eek:

    uncool, hopefully nobody buys them thinking they can get away with severely weakened UCA's.

    I'm all about modifying things, but there is a right way and a wrong way, taking a plasma cutter (or acetylene torch) and "trimming" without reinforcing is just plain wrong when it comes to a critical part that gets stressed quite a bit. Parts like our factory control arms rely on that edge to give the part strength and rigidity.

    I emailed him on eBay and shared my concerns. He said it was done by a local shop who after they notched the control arms, told him it was safe, well after a few emails, he began to realize 75 bucks was not worth it if someone got hurt because of them, so he pulled them off eBay. He is going to have them checked by another shop to see if they are safe. I doubt very much that they are. I was not sure if it was my place to email him but felt kinda obligated to - glad I did, who knows what might have happened if someone bought them and they failed while driving on the highway or anywhere for that matter.
