Anybody have the instructions that come with these? Maybe a PDF online somewhere?

Also when I install these I know that I need a ball join separator to remove the factory arm.....do I need a ball joint press as well?

    Try this link.

    http://www.spcalignment.com/PROD_DIR/SPC_PROD_INSTALL.cfm?cmd=25470ins.txt&cmd2=25470

The LR units have +2 Deg of caster built in. When you set them at 0 you are actually already at +2 caster compared to your stock arms. If you set your LR units to 0 the alignment tech can add 2 deg more or subtract 2 deg by sliding the ball joint in or out. Which would give you a range of +0 to +4 deg compared to your stock setup.

As far as separating the ball joint goes I popped my free with a 3 pound hammer. It doesn't really matter if you screw up the threads because the new LR units come with a new ball joint. The one on the stock unit will be disgarded with the stock UCA. I did temporarily remove the sway bar link that is just below the stock ball joint just so I could get a bigger swing at it. It came apart pretty easily and mine is a 120,000 mile rig.

When you put the new unit in you just crank down the bolt to seat the ball joint.

Nope like valley viking said a mini sledge will do the trick. Just make sure you remove the bracket for the brake line. Give the spindle a nice whack up top before you start beating upwards on the UCA. One of mine came lose by just whacking the spindle. Then its nice to either have an extra pair of hand or zipties ready to go right next to you, especially if the sway bar is removed because you will need something to temporarily secure the spindle so you don't stretch the brake and data lines.

I also noticed there are no grease zerks. Do you need to remove and freeze from time to time.

If you need help I can install them. Ive done prolly around 10 sets of 2nd gen Tacoma UCA installs.

Also, you will not need a ball joint press. I have installed these before and the ball joint slips right into the light racing arm. As for removing the stock UCA from the spindle, we use a penetrating oil and a rubber dead blow. This way, it saves the stock ball joints rubber covers.

Make sure you have all the proper tools laid out in front of you. Best way is to droop out the suspension, remove the castle nut and cotter pin that connects the UCA to the spindle, soak the fitting where the ball joint slips into the spindle with penetrating oil, let it sit for 5-10 min, then pound the arm of the UCA with a dead blow hammer till the ball joint end pops out of the spindle, then remove the UCA pivot bolt by bending the sheet metal and pounding it out partly with a punch and pulling it out. Penetrating oil makes it a lot easier. Then install the arm and torque everything.

Read through this thread. Obviously they're not LR UCAs but most of the steps are the same. Gives you some pictures for reference. It was a lot harder for me to get the long UCA bolts out then people make it sound like but overall the job isn't too hard.

When you separate the ball joint from the spindle either have a extra set of hands in there, or have zip ties or a bungee right next to you, you need to secure the spindle, and if you let go of it you might put to much tensions on your brake/data lines.

Its not to hard. You might find it easier to re install the long UCA bolt the opposite way, its easier to get out next time if you install it the opposite way.

    Can I bump this please?

I installed these UCA's and I have a bit of camber still. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I had it aligned but still kicked out a little. I am taking it to a different shop after work today (with a PDF printout) ... just curious if this is a common problem?
