what are the best shocks to put on my stock 06 4x4 access cab

 

What are you looking to do with it? What kind of driving do you do?

 

smoothest ride and very little off road. rough roads around here

 

I have Bilstein 5100's up front with Eibach coils and I really like the ride. Roads are shit around here too and they helped a lot. I probably didn't need to change the coils but they help with the weight of the winch. You can also adjust the spring perch on the shocks to level your truck. I still have the stock TRD shocks in the rear. I would put Bilsteins back there too but I'm looking into a six inch kit and I'll need longer shocks then anyway.

 

for roughest roads, offroading and smoothest ride coilovers would be your best bet, i honestly didnt feel any difference with the 5100s and stock but then again i offroad pretty hard, so im happy with my coilovers seems like 5100s would do you just fine

Oh okay. Yeah I would say some 5100's that way in the future if you do want to lift, youll already be set to go up front then just add some AAL's in the rear to level it out.
