help with rear suspension questions

ok here is the dilemma a buddy of mine called me earlier today and said that he bought a 98 standard cab tacoma. he knows that i just took off my my stock leaf packs for my alcans. he said something about the one of the leafs on his being broke? that i dont know but he is wondering that if my stock leaf packs which is a 2010 2 gen will work on his im guess would be 1st gen? and help here i have no clue with out looking to see if they bolt up

 

No they will not fit.

All else fails, break out the measurin' tape.

 

If just one of his leafs broke you may be able to tear apart your stock leaf pack and use one to replace his. This is just a thought though.

I'd check em out side by side to see if they'd be compatible and make the call yourself. I would also do the same to the other side so you will have continuity throughout and not have one side thrown off.

 

Maybe try Pming 4WD on here, he took some ford leaf springs and added them to his stock leaf pack. Here's a link to the thread.
