I have flattened out my factory springs and need to get a new set that is slightly heavier. Anybody have a good place to find an affordable set?

I have an 08 tacoma access cab, 6 speed, 4wd, V6. It came with 3 leaf, but I need something heavier for hauling the occasional load of wood.

3 leaf pack on the truck now, go to the dealer & see if they will perform the TSB for it. Long shot but it's free..

Manwithoutaplan, how much would you need for them? Would you think they are good enough for hauling a rick or rick and a half of wood, or would I be better off buying something other than stock?

Thanks folks. I'll check out the places mentioned to see about a new set. All pro seems a high, but from the few I have found, they aint cheap anyway.

What is the tsb exactly? Would it still be free since I am long out of my warranty?

A dealer can choose to perform any TSB regardless of mileage free of charge. It sounds like you qualify, they change out the old 3 leaf "saggy" pack for a beefier 4 leaf pack.

I can definately say I the springs flattening was my fault. They were soft to start with though. I hooked up a john deere power rake to it and flattened them out. When I jack it back up, the truck stayed where it was.

I will check into that on monday morning though. Sounds like a good deal, that would fix my problem good enough for me.

Well don't tell the dealer that, tell them you haul 500 lbs of wood & mulch regularly & they flattened out overtime.
