So all the 6" lift kits state that you have to use 18" wheels or larger, just wondering if anyone is running 17's on there 6" lift, my wheels are 17x8.5 with 5.25 BS, I'd like to go to a 6" lift but I don't want to buy new wheels and tires

Front skid plate. Hood protector, and wade in-channel guards. K&N CAI. Weathertech floormats, and door scuff guards. Tri-fold soft tonneau cover.
I don't know about your 6" lift question, but what are you running right now??? I would think that they say 18" for tire fit/look. I find it interesting, because on Jeeps, my friend is running 35's on 15's....Has somewhat of a "bubble" look to the tires though..

    Just my thoughts...

Unless you are changing your hubs/brakes I dont see a reason why you would have to run an 18. I would email or call them to find out specifics.

The 6" kits require at least 18" wheels due to tie rod end hitting any wheel smaller than that. There is a guy on TW that is running 16" wheels with his 6" kit but he is running wheel spacers. I don't know what backspacing he is running on the 16" wheels though.
