the TRD one? mine didnt come with one but i cud buy one if its cheaper than any of te others that work. it matched up and everything?

Blacktacoma23 11-12-2012 12:30 AM

A skid that goes under the bracket, or before like factory?

SemperFiTacoma 11-12-2012 12:41 AM

if im not mistaken (havent bought it yet), the RCD comes with a skid for under the diff. so i just need one that goes to the bracket. just so im not catchin ruts and stuff with the bracket

SemperFiTacoma 11-12-2012 12:45 AM

will any skid, ie. pro comp, budbuilt, trd work with any drop bracket lift?

Blacktacoma23 11-12-2012 02:01 AM

Ive only seen TRD skids fit with DB, or custom that stops where the bracket starts

Chad7088 11-12-2012 06:18 PM

sorry for the slow response, but it is the factory skid, not trd. I don't know if it is something that would serve the purpose for what you want it for, but it bolts up with the two front bolts and the rear rests against the rcd subframe. Its definitely tight enough for every day use and possibly some light off-roading . Heavy off roading may bend it all to crap :notsure:

thanks i may have to do that. no one knows if the pro comp or universal rcd skid fits?
