Yes, it's possible, just not a great idea in my opinion... I'm not a fan of body lifts when it comes to compromised safety and looks.

Most people on this site are against body lifts, they look like crap, but they are ok. As long as its a good kit and its done right.

There are several threads on this topic as well as a how to DIY for a 1" BL.
Looks are one thing - you may want to research the actual safety aspects of this type of mod.

I have a 1inch body w/a 3 inch suspension on my 4 runner and it looks good. And I wheel the fuck out of my runner. It's been air born,on its top, and rock crawled hard, still no problems with the body lift. I did it to clear bigger tires.

I have the OME 3inch lift. And a toytec 1 inch body lift.

Here is some action shots. Like I said we wheel it pretty good here in CO and it hasn't been bad for me.

I can clear 35's easy with it. Those are 34's on there right now. Its only a 1inch so it will only make a 1 inch difference. I have never ridden in my runner without the lift. I have no input for the ride. I feel my runner rides smooth but that's prolly the OME suspension.

No problem, my best advice is do what you like or what you think looks good on your own vehicle and say "fuck you" to people. :) it's your truck your really the only one who has to like it.

IF you do go with a body lift, get a good brand such as Performance Accessories and have it properly installed.

i've been out of the lifted truck scene for some time now but Perf Acc was a better, more complete kit at the time. The one you prefer does look good. Point being, IF one is to use a body lift, use a quality product. Don't skimp.

The bad reputation was from folks making their own lifts out of hockey pucks and what have you back in the day. Stacking lifts or going beyond 3". Many kits available today from reputable companies should be fine if PROPERLY installed. Of course, we all have an opinion.
