I'm going to be purchasing a 3in lift kit for my 2009 4 cylinder 4x4 access cab tacoma. I have done a tiny amount of research and found this lift in my price range. I was hoping to get some opinions on it. Also there are options for either a 2in or 1.5in rear leaf spring. I was wondering what one would give me the most level lift? (don't care for bro lean much) One more thing is do i need a diff drop?

    Thanks,
    Justin

the rear shocks are gonna be stock length, so they will top out easily, make noise and be less than perfect. the front coils are going to ride a bit stiff on the 4cyl, not sure what will happen if you are looking to set coil mount at .85 setting... or leave at stock setting wth coils and a top plate spacer will give you better travel and ride.. that is my 2 cents. i went OME... for an extra $100 or so you can do that, leave out the OME rear shocks and go procomp for an extra 1.75 inches of rear down travel... i guess thats my 5 cents... either way you will be happy. hopefully somebody with the setup you are looking at will offer some helpful insight.

buy a used 5lug set of leafs. they will give 1.5-1.75" of lift without the crappy AAL ride. theres a set for sale here for cheaper than a AAL

Might be a dumb question but do I add the 5lug leads to my leads I have now?
