3" Toytech lift with 18 inch rims!?!?

To start, I am new to this forum thing, and i know people get aggravated when somebody asks questions already answered. BUT, i've searched and searched and still cant find the right answer.

I have an 08 tacoma, double cab. I'm buying the Toytech 3 inch lift kit with bilstein 5100 adj. coilovers.. I want to put 18" rims with a tire close to 33".
Almost all the threads i've read have been about people putting 285/75/17 on.

If anybody could just clear up what tire size would be the best ( closest to 33" ) for an 18" rim, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

:confused::confused::confused:

actually for a 17 it is a 285/70/17 and the 16 is 285/75/16 so therefore you would want a 285/65/18 :cool:

275/70/18 I believe

Wow! That was really quick, thanks everybody for the input. Looks like ill be going with the 285/65/18. I guess my next step would be to figure out the right offset for the rims so I don't hit the control arm... I'm pretty sure it's -12??

YotaMatt 04-05-2013 04:15 PM

18x9 4.5 backspace with -12mm offset
