    I don't think it would say 05 + if it would also fit a 04 but that's just me maybe I'm wrong

    I think they are too long for a first gen.

    Even if you modified the rear shackles the axle would placed be too far back.

    Theres a reason for that...

    They're the same length but 1st gens are eliptical & 2nd gens are centerpin to eyeletts equal/ 1st gens are offset

    You'd at the very least would have to weld up the centerhole re drill new hole several inches forward to the front hanger & its just not worth the work doing so
