I have a broken leaf spring on my 08 dblcab 4x4 and Im looking to reaplace it. I don't want to lift or change the truck in any way, so what are good after market leaf packs? I know that the original Toyota leafs are known for breaking so Im not sure I want to go with them. Ive been on the board for a while now but Im a noob when it comes to most mechanical issues.

I can sell you my stock leaf pack since you're local.

Im looking to replace both sides, do you have both? That maybe an option depending on price of aftermarket packs.

Aftermarket packs tend to lift the rear which is what you are not looking to. You could get one of these: I have both packs still. Let me know.

Google "spring menders, or leaf spring repair". There are places that will make replacement leaves, on the spot. They are the best bet, since you might find more broken leaves when you tear into it yourself.

No first-hand knowledge, but I've heard good reviews on General Spring replacement leaf packs. http://www.generalspringkc.com/ They offer both stock replacement (2/1) and lift packs (3/1) for Tacomas.

Got my leafs swapped out last night and left the aal on. Body angle from rear to front is pretty steep is that ok for truck or can it potentially do damage? On a side note after I spent 3 hours doing the job I hit a deer on way home and now have a jacked up front bumper!

    Measurements?

Center of wheel to the top of the wheel well arch.

    It won't do any damage.

Rear is 24 and front is 20.5 although it looks like a bigger difference to the eye. I plan on getting billies and new front coils in the spring to bring the truck up to where its at a 3 inch lift.
