Help with 5100 install. Simple question

    Ok I just got the 5100s outta the box for my 07. I slid the little round clip that goes in the grooves of the shock to the 2.5 setting. Now how do I fasten the spring seat (or whatever its called) to the 2.5 setting? Do I just need to slide the seat over the top of the clip and push until it pops into place? The directions I have aren't clear. Thanks

    anybody? im kinda just having to sit around until i find out what to do... and i want my lift on! lol. I've changed out my share of suspensions just never messed with this type of adjustable shock

    Got everything apart already. I appreciate it though. Just playin the waitin game now lol

    Magnaflow cat and cat-back exhaust, AFE Stage 2 cold-air intake system, 2.5" lift via Skyjacker leaf packs, Bilstein 5100s.
    I just installed mine. Just slide the ring into the top groove (for 2.5" lift) an the spring seat just slides down and sits on top of that. Easy, simple.

    Yeah I just got mine to. It just didn't seem like it should be that easy lol

    Spacer lift, bumper stickers, ejector seat, etc.
    That's great to hear! I am pondering on wether to get the 5100's or a full lift kit, and I'm wondering which one would look better and affordable. :)

    That is all you have to do. Move the spring clip to the desired height. Then slide the spring seat down over the shock till it rest on the spring clip. It should rotate freely. Make sure you have the spring seat going in the right direction. The instructions shows you the right way.
