I just ordered some Billy5100's for all four corners of my '09 taco. The front will be set at 2.5". Given that I don't aal, how much higher will my front sit than my rear? Will there be any performance issues without the aal?

I ran 5100's all around no prob front set @ 2.5" no aal i had no issues. The shocks actually leveled my truck out i didnt have the nose in the air but its different for most trucks. But there will be no performance issues.

    Ok. Sounds good. Thanx.

All 5100's are the same right? I adjust the height when I get them right? I don't have to order A preset height right?

When you get the you set them up to the 2.5" height and your good to go.

I dont see how it would be level with the fronts set at 2.5 and no AAL Im at 1.75 in the front with an AAL and Im just about level.

    are you referring to me?

im honestly confused now. some say they have 2.5 and 2" aal and they are about level, some say 2.5 and a 1.5" aal and they sit about level, and you say your level at 1.75.
i guess it all depends on the truck?

but if i were to just run 5100 up front for now what should i set them to to be some what level?

Im just about level with 1.75 and the TSB AAL. I still have some rake. I just dont see how it could be level with no AAL and the 2.5 setting.

well if i was going to run it at 2.5 i was going to throw an aal on.
BUT for now since funds are short i just want to at least run the 5100 only, what setting will be level.

I couldent tell you maybe the .85 would look good. Im just going off of what mine looks like with 1.75 and the TSB AAL. I just wouldn't want you to set them at 2.5 and have your front higher than the rear and have to do the process again to get the look you want.
