I got the TSB done yesterday and the first thing I noticed when driving home was the steering wheel was a bit off. It drives straight and true. Do they mess w/ front end alignment for the TSB? Is there a way I can adjust a rod end or something to center the steering wheel? Thanks TW.

Might help if you give a bit more details about what you had done, there's about 40 TSB's currently.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
If they replaced all four shocks, they would have had to realign it.

I don't think they replaced the shocks. I thought they just replaced the 3 leaf w/ a 4 leaf pack. BTW, It's and 08 DC TRD off road.

Check your invoice and see the quantity of the shocks, that should tell you if they did replace the fronts. If they didn't then its your imagination, changing any rear suspension component would not affect the steering

I checked my invoice and the only things replaced were L/R spring pack and U-bolts.

Is there any play at all in how the axle mounts to the leaf spring assy? Just a thought that if the springs were removed from the axle and then replaced it might be possible that the axle is turned off center. Pure speculation - I haven't been around my truck long enough to see how the rear is put together.

Part of the TSB is an allignement...... and the steering wheel centering is part fo that.

I'd take it back to the dealer and tell them to FIX IT.

Just had mine done a week ago...... like Janster said, four wheel alignment is included in the rear spring TSB.... no matter if the front shocks were replaced or not. They didnt adjust the wheel correctly.
