Tell me if you have the procomp 6" lift kit does the kit just use lift blocks for the rearr or add a leaf and lift blocks? Also I`ve got the basic 6" kit on order and I was wondering if any of you have upgraded from those cheap white body shocks to something else, like bilsteins, or Icon , or ? I`m wanting to get a better set of Icon shocks for the rear, just trying to figure out what size I would need to get? Thanks!!

Thanks Jack!! From reading what info I could find online I thought they used an add-a-leaf and block, but the pictures of the kit never showed an add-a-leaf. thanks for the INFO!!

I might be mistaken, I believe I was thinking about the stage 2 uses add a leaf, the stage one uses just a block. Im sorry for the confusion.

I have a stage 1 kit and it has both the add-a-leafs AND the blocks on it.

(FRONTS) can you put any aftermarket coilovers with 6" lifts...

i.e. if I were to get icons now could I match them with a procomp or fabtech basic later on. Obviously I'd have to lower the icons... but I'm thinking of new shocks up front but I eventually want to get a 6" lift

Im pretty sure that Icon makes two different types of shocks. One is the standard shock and then they also make another one built for the 6 inch lift so I think you would have to get new shocks when you put the lift on there. Thats my understanding anyway.
