Thinking of Pro Comp Stage II

So here is my dilemma. Right now I have a Toytec 3 inch spacer lift with an aal, stock 16" alloys with spidertrax and 33s. I knew before starting the lift it was not the best way to do it but it was all I could afford at the time. That being said, I want to fix my mistake by getting a pro comp stage II. My next problem is what to do about wheels and tires. I just put out around $700 for A/ts for my 16 inch rims about 2 months ago but understand you must run at least 17" rims or larger for the lift. My question is, if I can find someone to trade their stock 17in alloys and 33s (and maybe some cash) for my 16in alloys and 33s (I know it's a long shot) would they work with the procomp lift? I have searched but have been unable to find an answer. I have an 06 btw. Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty sure that its not necessary to use 17 inch with the procomp because the spindle isn't any bigger then the stock one. let me check tho

you need at least a 17 inch rim and 4.5 inch of back spacing to fit on the front the spindle that comes with the kit is beefy

 

yeah you need to run 17" rims... are you sure you dont want to save for LT??? if you go with the stage 2 pro comp kit, upgrade to the MX6-R remote resivor shocks...they are much better than the mx-6 shocks that come with the kit...they are only about $100 more each.
