he has a cantilever rear suspension... it allows you to run the shocks horizontaly instead of vertical... this allows you to keep the bed intact while running a performance rear suspension

usually everything is under the bed and not vizible

Hahah thanks Matt you got it all covered.

As the owner of the truck I can honestly say that there aren't any cons I've come across! I think it just looks really cool. It's fun to watch it move!

generally speaking...

PRO's: keep bed space, no cutting into bed, bling factor, it works

CON's: can be expensive, can be difficult to tune shocks, has to be custom fab, there's no "canti kit"

thats really all i can think of... it's just another way of doing things... to set it up properly requires more planning and math to figure the susp geometry out

The only complaint I have about my exact set up is limited up travel. We tried to get my truck to sit as low as possible. So Now I hit my hydro bumps alot. I plan to get my leaf springs re-arched for more ride height. But all in all I'm very happy with the way it performs and the way it looks. Plus it stands out like no other. I hate having what the next guys already has.

yeah man, when karl was building my truck we went for the low ride height... i liked it but i was hitting my bumps every time too and my tires were hitting my bedsides because of my wheel spacers... i had to swap in a new leaf pack

are you running J59's?

Yeah I've got the j59's
but we ran the axel over the leafs instead of under. So mine sits like 3" lower. What leaf pack do you have?
