I don't get it... What's dumb about it?

It's obvious the guy doesn't have 4WD.

I was expecting something really stupid to happen and I didn't see anything.
I don't know, I don't own jetskis so I don't know the *loading etiquette*.
Other than the guy sitting at the front (safety hazard) - but perhaps that helps keep the trailer from floating?

The guy backs the trailer up so far he almost submerges the truck.
He didn't need to be anywhere close to being that deep to load/unload.

Ok...that's understandable.

But it's not THAT stupid..... I mean, maybe they did that on purpose for the video? Who knows.

Besides...it's only truely submerged when you hydrolock the engine. (laugh)
