Thanks,

Bet that made for an interesting experience. Bummer about the sled, good to see you all made it back. Awsome video, thanks for sharing (good music as well, nice choice, it fit perfectly). Dude with the chopper was pretty good at loading.

Quite the adventure! Thanks for posting it up .They are a lot easier to tow if you have a boggan to throw the track into...of course no one wants to be the guy pulling the boggan on a trip.

sweet video, sucks about the sled!

+1 to the pilot, some of those guys who do Heli-ski drop offs are really good with the stick

Wow what an awesome riding spot. how far from Van is that place?

On a side note, i always thought being a helicopter pilot out in the mountains would be a sick job. How does your buddy like it? Pay and hours any good?

I tried it once, but it's damn expensive if you don't have prior military training. The cost of fuel and maintenance was 300-400 bucks an hour and i think you need 1200 hours to become certified. Needless to say, i couldn't afford it

Thats about 1:30 drive from Van...
He loves it but its more of a seasonal job. Heli ski in winter and some site touring in summer. If you get your license for rescue then you are pretty set

Haha bad ass! Your buddy is lucky man.. Flying an A Star in the mountains is an exclusive ass job. I'm something of a Heli pilot myself (working on a commercial rating) and that is something I aspire to. Snatch up a ride in that bad boy if you get a chance! Its a blast

I been heliski with him a few times, I can't tell the heli ride is more fun or the powder ski!!
