Whipsaw 2012

A little video I put together for my friends and I. This was our summer 2012 attempt at the Whipsaw. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it back again this summer. At least next year we'll leave later in the summer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyN_8...1&feature=plcp

Enjoy.

Definitely a sweet trail. I would suggest no earlier than late july. We were there july first and there was substantial snow. We met guys running 44's and they were getting buried past their wheel wells in some of the ruts they were making; however, the snow was beginning to melt.

Definitely a good cruising trail. Perfect if you're a beginning wheeler or just want some amazing scenery. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to witness the crazy flower fields up there...as dainty as that sounds.

Haha, I would love to go up there but my truck is nowhere near capable of making it around up there.

a stock taco could complete whipsaw. if its snowy, its another story. i did it near the end of july, no snow, it was a cake walk for the stock trucks we had with us.

I agree with Spoonman, that tacoma with the flatbed was pretty much bone stock, he even had 31" snow tires on there, which did essentially nothing for him in the snow, but nevertheless he made it just as far as we did...with a lot of running and smashing snowbanks.
