Killer, thanks for all the kind words guys/gals. Here's our latest -

Episode 5 - educating the high country

After splitting up for Episode 4, it was time to bring the team back together again. We set our bearings north of Greenbrier County and aimed for West Virginia’s summit. The Mountain Institute was hosting this visit and set aside some time to share their stories.

For anyone that's within a day drive to State College PA, mark your calendars for the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival July 11-13. We stopped in and got the details from the guys at the Main Line Overland garage just over a week ago; its gonna be a blast, no doubt.

Keep in touch and holler if you're ever plan to travel through SW VA and SE WV.

The festival was a lot of fun! We filmed Episode 6 while we were up there we'll be releasing it in a couple days on Vimeo and YouTube.

Episode 7 - Taking it South

Episode 7 - "taking it south"

Team MSO closes out Season 1 with an overland trip into southern WV. We're mapping a series of routes that traverse the backroads and trails of Appalachia with hopes to encourage multi-day off road adventures and regional tourism in this country's oldest mountain range. Presented by Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Music by Dusty Lee Elmer.

Absolutely! We've got a series of overland routes that originate in Morgantown and traverse as far south as Wytheville VA. By the end of the month we'll be connecting another 200 miles form Episode 7 in southern WV. Thanks for the compliment and see you on the trail!

PM me your email or phone number. There's a road about 20mins south of morgantown called mudlick run rd, or 13 creek rd to the locals. You cross mudlick creek 13 times with no bridge. Not extreme just a fun road. Also there are a few great roads on the southern side of the tygart river across from valley falls state park.

What app do you use in the iPad/iPhone to download/save maps and use the gps? Been looking for a good one to use when I don't have cell service but gps still works (can't use google maps because maps won't load without cell service)

If black water falls is on your list I know a great trail there also. These are all legal county roads also so no trespassing. I ride my dual sport to scout out these roads but have taken my tacoma on all them as well. I'm familar with every back road, path, trail within a 20-30 mile radius from bridgeport
