Before you go pickin on a Nissan...

These pictures are from 9 years ago......this guy got stuck and we had to winch him out. I'm just glad he had to get his feet wet in the process.

It's definately driver error. Everyone was running around in that muddy area and nobody else got stuck.

Yeah...so were we. It was his first time offroading. Every once in a while you get these guys who think offroading is just riding around on 'dirt roads'. They're scared shitless when they realize where they are and what they're doing. He was afraid to get on the gas ....
He never came out wheeling again after that.

Yeah, and notice....someone else sacrificed their dry shoes to hook-up the cable.

After that day, we made a ruling....If you get stuck, we'll pull you out. But YOU have to hook up the cable/straps to your own vehicle.

That's a good rule but I'm also confused as to how he's stuck in the pic. He looks like he could have just given it a little skinny pedal and drive out normally.

Yeah....and although that was taken 9 years ago, we probably told him to give it some gas. He didn't listen and didn't want to try.

hahahahaha. So he wasn't stuck just scared. Makes sense now. I would have just hopped in and drove it out of the water and made him feel silly.

yeah the nissan is definitely just 2wd, you can see when he gets bogged down that only the back two wheels are pulling. Well either the truck's 2wd or he didn't put it in 4wd; the first option justifying him being stuck of course, and the latter making it that much worse haha
