Deer Mob

Ok here's the story:
I was working on Wednesday March 26th. I get a call from our security gaurd telling me there is a herd of deer that got into our gates and went crazy and were trying to kill each other. Ok our guard is a little off his rocker and just thought he was over exaggerating about something again. For gods sakes he's called the cops because he saw a car go in the wrong gate! So I go out and he can't find where they were on the cameras so I jump in the Taco and head back. I find about 20 deer just going crazy! I was able to chase them out another gate with the Taco. And just for you animal lovers out there I'm sure some of them may have had some injuries that will heal in time from when they were trying to get out, but none were harmed when I got out there and chased them out. But I now believe that deer are god's stupidest creation.

That was only a few minutes of it. There was a total of about 15 minutes of this type of footage before I was able to get them out. And from where you see them enter to going crazy is only about a 2 minute difference and they are only about 100 yards inside the gate, they could have easily turned around and went right back out.

too funny... deer are cute, but they carry thousands of ticks. i care about my dogs a lot more than the deer.

Ehh... If they rammed the truck I was considered doing company business so everything would have been picked up by my company.

Sure is, not to mention the ones that just keep plowing into the fence face first.

I am glad the story ended on a good note, as for the comment that deer are Gods dumbest creature, I think they they come in a close second... human beings just bailed out Bear Stearns, are more concerned with March madness than the sorrow of the 4000th dead American soldier, and who will be the next American Idol. Hmm ... maybe the deer know something we don't ?

There you have it, yes same thing happened to me two hunting seasons ago, when stalking for a deer I was close to the end of the ranch where a high fence is in place and I got a group of 7 does in front of me no farther than 20 ft when both (myself and this group of does) were surprised and two of them got almost trapped in the fence when they jump more than once in it. Weird... but they follow the "leader".

Thanks.

They remind me of Lemmings, does anybody remember that game. With the stupid little green guys that will just walk off a cliff unless you lead them somewhere else?
